1. Installing AvatarBlocks
This section describes how to install the AvatarBlocks module. It also provides information and reference links for modules that can enhance AvatarBlocks.

But before you start, you'll want to make sure your site is configured for user pictures. Go to yoursite/admin/user/settings and enable Picture Support. You can configure maximum dimensions and filesize for pictures, and you can specify a default image to be used for users without pictures. You'll also need to enable the core upload module. Once you've enabled picture support, users will be able to upload their own pictures from their profile page.
You might also want to go to yoursite/admin/build/themes, and then click the configure link next to your active theme. Here, you can enable the use of user pictures in posts and comments. These settings won't affect the AvatarBlocks module, but they're part of Drupal's default user picture support.
