Hello, friends of RoopleTheme. This page provides download links for the pre-release version of the Tapestry theme.

The Tapestry handbook, which includes installation instructions for the theme and its associated modules, can be found here. Like the theme, these instructions are a work-in-progress. We'll be updating the handbook over the next couple of days as we continue to tweek the theme.

You can log onto this demo site with a username of betatest and a password of roopletheme. This will allow you to view the content as an authenticated user.

We will be updating the theme throughout the next several days, and will post new versions on this page. To determine which version of the theme you are working with, look at the $Id statement at the top of the template.php file. The initial release is version 0.01a.

We are very interested in hearing about your experience using this theme with any and all Drupal modules, content types, etc. Please report any problems that you experience or bugs that you discover on the RoopleTheme Tapestry forum. Drop us an email if you are unable to access this forum, and we'll hook you up.

Because we're actively modifying the theme on the demo site, you'll want to do a hard refresh or clear your browser cache frequently to make sure you're looking at our latest stuff.

Release History

0.01a - Initial Release.
0.01b - Replaced a couple of improperly exported logo images.
0.02a - Separated and more completely implemented icon code, including theme settings hook. Documented basic icon use in handbook. Completely rewrote style CSS files, including block theme styles. Cleaned up typography and spacing issues reported by Whoey.
0.03a - Addition of 7 new styles, significant changes to previous styles, removed most of icons from prev release, implemented font selection option, implemented content-top and content-bottom, split content-top and content-bottom into left and right regions, probably some other stuff.
0.04a - Addition of 5 new styles, some changes to previous styles, mostly implemented suckerfish menus (still need to add IE support), fixed some IE7 layout bugs, cleaned up some erroneous code, generally tried to make it bitchin'.
0.05a - Addition of 8 new block theme templates (and related styles), changes to existing styles, made node and block font sizes uniform, finished suckerfish menu implementation (including IE6 support), misc bug fixes, made it taste better. Be sure to update your block theme config!
0.06a - Added two more styles (1 more to go!), added arrow icons to suckerfish pullout menus, fixed a suckerfish IE bug, override some silly drupal table styling. Major changes and additions to the online Handbook.
0.06b - Fixed menu colors in firenze.css that I broke in the 0.6a release.
0.07a - Added configuration option that allows placement of sidebars: content between sidebars, sidebars on left, or sidebars on right. Sweet.
0.07b - Actually, it's just 0.07a. Drupal keeps caching the bad file I uploaded the first time, and I want to go to bed, so I'm taking the easy way out.
0.08a - Added the Outside Sidebar region, added config options to set the width of the outside sidebar region as well as the side of the page it is displayed on, cleaned up some colors in the various color scheme style sheets. Read This Page for a description of the new sidebar options.
0.08b - Modified the styles for the SolidX and OutlineX block themes so that they could be used in User13-User15 regions (see the updated Block Theme page.), styled table elements that are used (amongst other places) on forum pages, re-organized the layout of the options on the theme settings page, reverted back to the default drupal styling of ordered and unordered lists.
0.08c - WC3 validation-related changes, including a change to the way the menu_links and menu_item override functions generated class names.
0.08d - Quick fix to primary links margins... broke this in 0.08b when I changed the ul and ol styling.
0.08e - Added option to select position of suckerfish menu (right, left, or center), modified leaderboard and banner regions so that they could be used for standard blocks (text, images, whatever), added new block theme called nomargins that allows flush treatment of content (as with the tapestry banner on this page), added new block called rollover1 that will generate rollover effect for a block containing an unordered list of links (like a navagation menu or the style picker on the home page). Be sure to update your block theme config!
0.08f - Fixed IE issue that caused 3-up block arrangements (i.e. User13, User14, and User15) to break layout, sending right-most block (User15) below others.
0.08g - Fixed an IE6 bug that caused the rollover block theme to display gaps between the list items.
0.09a - Restyled table elements that are used (amongst other places) on forum pages (much better...), added rollover2 block theme, fixed margins on fieldset tag (was causing collapsible field links on the admin pages to bunch up), added custom typography.
0.09b - added style for Drupal messages div, eliminated <center> tag from page footer, replaced blockquote.png with a slightly better looking GIF file, added new content to the Customizing Tapestry Handbook Pages, made source PNG file available for download.
0.10rc1 - Added support for alternate IE6 icons and restructured icon code, added 20th color style, replaced themed logo images, modified handbook pages relating to icons.
0.10rc2 - Add icon_user.gif to the icons/famfam folder, which was somehow omitted from RC1.
0.10rc3 - Created version for Drupal 6; add header-left, header-center, and header-right regions; cleaned up several spacing, alignment, and font-size issues issues; fixed IE spacing problems in header; eliminated IE7-specific style sheet (since the theme wasn't using it anyway); fixed a bug in the icon menu code, fixed background color in dolores.css; added gzipped tar distribution.
0.10rc4 - Fixed main content margin.
1.0rc5 - Added footer regions, added IE PNG fix feature, fixed title line height, fixed IE6 BS, add print style sheet, clean up unused files.
